The Approach
Sasha Portillo, MS, CSCS
Movement is an underutilized form of medicine. It allows you to connect to yourself in so many ways and supports well-being exponentially. My goal is to get you connected from top to bottom by working with your cognitive, logical side and merging it with your body’s wisdom. This approach targets whole-body health and allows for more progress to occur simultaneously.
The physical impacts the mental, and the mental impacts the physical.
Utilizing a range of evidence-based, trauma-informed tools, you learn to expand your stress tolerance, regulate your emotions, and reduce anxiety and overwhelm while retaining your grit. We use many tools - movement, nutritional based strategies, skills exercises, art, journaling, and other creative forms of expression - that help build acceptance, boundaries, and more control in your life while opening up more space to bring your inner child out to play.
The bottom line: I’m here to remove the guess work and help you strengthen your body and mind so you can thrive in the every day moments that matter.

A hybrid, competitive strength and fitness athlete with experience working with barbell athletes, first responders, entrepreneurs and other high-achieving individuals
